Booked this for my spouse and me, mid-50’s, on the recommendation of a friend. Picked Roko based on the availability for a balcony cabin early September and the itinerary from Split to Dubrovnik, with limited direct flights from/to EWR. Responsible Travels worked with the Small Cruise Collection to arrange, including an add-on day tour to Montenegro from Dubrovnik, and overnight stay in Dubrovnik. Our stops were Sibenik, Hvar, Mlnik, Vis, Slano, Korcula, blue cave,Sipanska Luka and Dubrovnik, though order may change because of weather.
Roko was great, good facilities with 2 hot tubs and lots of places to lounge around in shade or sun. Filip was our cruise manager and made everything run smoothly. There were around 30 passengers, ranging in age from 50s to 70s, mix of couples, small groups with a few solo travelers. We enjoyed their camaraderie and made fast friends. Meals were at 4 large tables of 8. Food was ok, menu was predetermined though you could indicate some dietary preferences before the voyage. Coffee was ok not as good as would be expected in Croatia. Rooms were comfortable, balcony a big plus, especially for hanging wet clothes to dry. Shower was very good. Daily service to make bed and replace towels. Nice morning swim stops with paddle boards and a kayak. Also snorkeling gear and inflatables provided.
Crew was great, very helpful and friendly. Alcohol and coffee available for purchase. Island stops worked well, Mr Filip did great job sharing information, keeping things on track. He shared restaurant recommendations for each stop, important since most dinners independent and off the ship. Tours were fun, especially Korcula. Would have been nice to stay longer at the national park to see island as well as ebiking. Too much downtime for us. Overall great time, hope to stay in touch with our new friends!
